Yep, it is finally here.

After months, weeks and days that seemed to go on forever, the first day of the first test of the Ashes has arrived.

And don't worry, if you fear you've woken up in a fever dream or you've lost it - The Betoota Advocate can confirm that the 21st of November is the date (unless you are reading this after the 21st).

Yes sir. Today marks the beginning of 5 Tests worth of test match cricket dripping in drama, narrative, testosterone, modern masculinity, morality and intrigue.
