The best looking rooster in a group of mid-20s blokes has been garnered a lot of attention from the coastal birds, it is being reported.

Onlookers say that 26-year-old Rylie Rockford, hadn't even made it to the bar before he was swooped upon by a number of local Surf Club Cockatoos

In fact, the part-time roofer/full-time surfer could be easily mistaken for a metallic strip of foil this afternoon - as it is increasingly likely he will be snapped up in full flight and taken to high-rise nest somewhere in the local vicinity.

Similar to the Northern Hemisphere's Cougar, the Surf Club Cockatoo is known for pursuing younger suitors - with powerful talons and eyesight up to eight times sharper than the average laying bird.

They also tend to forage in flocks and can be identified by their voluminous blonde crests - and their penchant for head-to-toe white linen.

While they are known to inhabit the coastal regions of northern New South Wales and South-East Queensland, the Surf Club Cockatoos can also be spotted in Cairns, Port Douglas and the poolside sunbeds of Magnetic Island.

Today, as the most handsome young fella in the beer garden finds himself being squawked at, he can't help but through a little bit of chook feed out there as he playfully eyes off the hooked beaks buxom plumage.

With the cockatoos now asking him to share his exact height in metric inches, friends say Rylie could very well become somewhat of garden worm after a couple schooners.
