Global Relief As Trump Says AI Billionaires With Clear Personality Disorders Have Agreed To Police Themselves

The increasing global concerns about the potential for an unregulated AI sector to cause mass human extinction have been relieved today.

This comes just days after it was revealed that unmanned OpenAI agents had hacked Australia's Medicare records, alongside video footage of armed humanoid combat robots rolling off conveyor belts, on top of the increased warnings that the current data centre race will result in environmental catastrophe.

However, President Donald Trump has soothed all anxieties related to the A.I sector's reputation for seeming to care about whether or not life on earth continues - with the President insisting that our planet has nothing to worry about, at least when it comes to the multibillionaire AI bosses that he's been meeting with anyway.

Trump says he is satisfied with having "the smartest people in the world watching over each other" rather than introducing regulation, because regulation stifles excellence and economic growth.

This comes as the deeply spiritually, mentally and emotionally troubled bosses of America's top AI companies sign a voluntary agreement to "self-police" their technology in response to mounting warnings about its potential dangers.

However, some argue that middle aged men who really see no purpose in life, outside of getting as rich as humanly possible, might not be the best people to have left in charge of such a powerful technology that they themselves cannot seem to truly fathom.

But the US president is still resisting calls for the government to implement guardrails for the sector, because such interventions might give China the upper hand, and this is like the space race all over again just with a technology that even it's creators have admitted could wipe out civilisation if left unchecked.

While the agreement says laws or regulations might "make sense" in future, Trump says he's satisfied with this commitment because these men are incredibly rich and therefore smart enough to not destroy human civilisation and the planet in their frantic pursuit of trans-humanist immortality.
