A chill coffee catch up has left a group of friends rolling their eyes this morning, after witnessing just how much their mate is a Type-A (for arsehole).

Catching up for a brief coffee and chit-chat this morning, Isla Monroe (27) and Maya Rivers (28) had just found a table inside Blackbird Bakehouse, when their forever stressed mate, Madeline Sharpe, came marching in like a dance Mum demanding to speak to the adjudicator.

Gathering to catch up to chat about some hens plans for next year, it didn’t take long before the highly competitive and disgusting driven Madeline began taking all the fun out of the occasion.

“So I’ve been thinking about my hens, you girls plan it but I can set the date,” started Isla, the lucky bride planning a wedding in late 2026.”

“Yep, I’ve already got potential dates!” squealed Madeline, as she pulled a gorgeous monogrammed hardback diary from her bag, and ripped the lid off a pen which also had her initials engraved on the shaft.

“I’ve marked out the 6th or 13th of March, or the 10th of April, that's the weekend after Easter! And I’ve made a spreadsheet of accommodation options and flights too.”

Screwing their face up at the sight of a friend who’s clearly so highly strung she’s managed to custom order a personalised monogrammed diary that she’s already filling out with colour coded pens in December,” Isla and Maya could only sigh.

“I’ve got a text message drafted ready to go out into the group chat, plus some early budget things scoped.

“If you can just tell me when to click go on the personalised dressing gowns, I’ll order them tonight. I’ve already got a well priced quote for a local embroider ready to go.”
