A Betoota Heights man has caused a scene this afternoon, after a rather unusual move on his commute home.
Berrigan Berickson (49) was pulled over by police a short time ago, after reportedly clocking 5 kilometres below the speed limit.
That stunning behaviour from the 5 ft 9 Raptor driver shocked police, who said the behaviour was actually extremely disruptive to afternoon traffic.
"Look, I hear you," said Constable Will Willson at approximately 4.54pm on Diamantina Link Road.
"How can we book someone for adhering to the speed limit?"
"Well, given he's a raptor driver, it's actually extremely dangerous, because other motorists are expecting him to aggressively tailgate, change lands, and speed."
"So when they spot him in the rear vision they start getting out of the way, but then cars behind him are queueing up and forced to take the inside line."
"Causing alarm and concern."
"So for the sake of other motorists, he needs be keeping with the status quo and drive like a fuckhead."
"Just so people know what they are dealing with."
More to come,
