While most of the nation grapples with the change in routine and social isolation, one local cocky says he’s not finding it too bad.

“I’m not finding it too bad” he said.

In fact, Barry Hinchcliffe, or Bazza for short, has been self-isolating and working from home ever since he moved back to his family property 34km east of Betoota.

“Yeh, I don’t see what the big deal is”

“All these city folks whingeing about being stuck at home with shit internet, that’s literally my life”

Despite only being 34km out of the town, Bazza and his family have been struggling to get decent internet for years.

“I hear mates up in Sydney say they can’t have a zoom call without it glitching, mate, we can’t even make a phone call, let alone a video call”

“Anyway, mate, I better get back to this paddock, not gonna sow itself!”

More to come.
