European Bakery Fails To Deliver Anything Remotely As Satisfying As Tip Top With Meadow Lea

Despite over a century of severe carry on from continental Europe, a new report has re-confirmed what most people already know.

A report from a Betoota man currently travelling through the 'taste making countries of Western Civilisation' has landed, confirming that all these fancy boulanjerries or whatever you want call em, actually don't hold a candle to an Australian staple.

"Mate, all this fancy sourdough has nothing on a bit of Tip Top or WonderWhite and some Meadow Lea," he laughed.

"Bit of some crunchy loaf with some olive devon (mortadella)?"

"Yeah, no thanks, I'll have a snag on some Tip Top, thanks very much."

The Betoota man's comments come after yet another complaint around town from a continental European visitor, that Australian's just can't make bread.

"Truly, your bread is disgraceful," said Antoine DuNtmack.

"I cannot eat it, it is so bad."

"How do you make it so awful."

"Genuinely, even your bakeries cannot make bread."

When asked what exactly makes 'bread,' this local European visitor just said we wouldn't get it.

"It's too hard to understand."

"What you call bread, is not bread."

"I don't know what it is, but it's not bread."

More to come.
