A local French Quarter man has gone ahead and done it today, it can be confirmed.
The 27-year-old gainfully employed and well remunerated sparky who lives with a couple of female housemates he has a great platonic friendship with on Rue De Branlet, did it a short time ago after leaving his local service station.
Enjoying a day off work to go and traverse the Scenic Top bush walk up Mt Remienko with his new lover, Aaron Holiday reportedly asked Chantelle to pull over for a sec so he could grab some snacks and refreshments.
Unfortunately for the budding relationship, it appears as though that request has pulled the first crucial thread from its fabric.
"He came out with one of those big cans of Monster Energy drink," sighed Chantelle to The Advocate a short time ago.
"The White Monster too, which for some reason is particularly disconcerting."
"Such a shame," she sighed.
"I can't unsee it now."
"Man, he seemed so great. Kind, pretty well balanced, considerate, thoughtful, sounded like a great relationship with his mum and his sister, no interest in gambling," she continued.
"But the White Monster is just weighing heavily upon me."
"I guess this is our first real relationship test."
More to come.
