“Don’t Worry The X-ray Is Perfectly Safe” Says Dentist Before Usain Bolting Out Of The Room

A woman who finally got her vastly overdue checkup and clean was left feeling a little concerned this morning, after her dentist ran away from the x-ray machine with a little too wind in her step.

Having put off getting her luxury bones checked for far too long, Mara McViety, 27, says she’d prepared herself for an hour and a half of getting prodded and poked, whilst anxiously waiting to hear if she was in the clear or needed a few thousand in dental work.

“Look, I already know this is a bit of a meme, but how do people’s gums NOT bleed, when prodded with a sharp object?”, she asks, running a tongue over her now polished teeth, “I feel like I was kind of set up to fail there.”

However Mara’s biggest concern was the x-ray area, which saw her dentist zoot out of the room faster than Usain Bolt.

“Yeah she was a bit too quick on her feet.”

“I’m a bit skeptical about this whole ‘a little bit of radiation is fine’ thing now.”
