Disaster Strikes As That One Black Top That Goes With Everything Now Missing

The Betoota Force is now asking for the public’s help in the search for a local woman’s black top that has been missing since, she thinks, last Sunday. 

Lily’s black top which was last seen on Lily in Betoota’s French Quarter at after work drinks with the girlies..

The top can be described as “a black high neck that synches in at the waist and sits perfectly on top of all of Lily’s pants.” 

She first noticed the top missing this morning while looking for an outfit for the day. 

“I looked everywhere, in the wash, down the side of the bed, in the washing machine."

"Like seriously where could it have gone? Someone probably fucking stole it!” 

Lily’s top was purchased in 2017 before all women’s tops became either cropped or made from 100% polyester. 

“I got it for $4 at salvos, I’ve had the top for 9 years, it’s the longest relationship I’ve ever had” Lily told our reporter. 

“I can pair it with a pair of trousers for work or I can dress it up with a mini skirt and head out to the clubs.” 

“This is probably what pet owners feel when they lose their cat. I go to grab the top from my hanger but nothing is there. It’s like there’s a hole in my heart.” 

Anyone who has information on Lily Scott’s black top is urged to contact the Betoota's Major Crimes division, as the predominantly female taskforce have prioritised this missing item above all else out of sympathy.
