In a remarkably brazen act, it can be reported today that a recently single man has made the tough call to spruce up his Hinge profile by including all the candid shots his ex-girlfriend took of him.

Lachlan Farber (24) who recently parted ways with his girlfriend has not yet emotionally processed the grief that comes from splitting with a partner. Instead, he’s back on the apps again!

Farber who met his former girlfriend on the apps was quietly excited to get back into pokies dating.

Unfortunately, Farber encountered a slight problem. The photos he had used in the past were a touch dated and the more contemporary photos he had mostly consisted of him and his mates doing dumb shit, which he feared would give potential dates ‘the ick’.

Pressed for options, Farber weighed up the ethics about using the photos his ex-girlfriend took of him over the time that they were together. He ultimately concluded that she probably wouldn’t care.

“They’re my photos just as much as they are hers. She’s removed all evidence of me from her Instagram, it would be a shame to see those pics of me go to waste.”

“The photo of me from the hike we went on in Italy is the perfect fit for my new profile, it shows that I like doing outdoorsy shit.”

Farber reflected on the ethical conundrum but ultimately acknowledged that this was as far as he would go.

“I thought about cropping her out of the photo of us in Greece but I think that’s a bridge too far. I’ve farmed enough photos she took of me to put together a profile, I just hope she’s not up to the same tricks.”
