The long awaited visit from Queen Mary and King Frederik of Denmark is going down a treat this week, it can be confirmed.
Swinging through, the Royal pair have been hitting some key destinations around the country, and linking up with the powers that be.
Shaking hands and kissing babies, King Freddie and Tassie Mary have won plenty of dignitaries over by turning up with some traditional gifts.
Meeting the Prime Minister in Canberra, while Mary and Albo caught up over the Hawks and the staidum down in Tassie, King Fred handed over a beautiful blue box of Danish cookies.
"Haven't got nans sewing needles in them already have they," laughed the PM.
It's believed the royal pair have brought over a couple of suitcases worth of the biccies, as well as much tobacco as they possibly could for Mary's family in Tassie.
The next head off to the Apple Aisle, where Mary apparently plans to show Fred the ropes with 8 pints of Moo Brew down on the wharf in Salamanca.
More to come.
