The mysterious world of a boomer father’s camera roll has today been revealed as only having images that would be helpful to a Bunnings worker.

Local Betoota woman, Ashley Hilder managed to gain access to the camera roll after stealing her father’s phone after she swore he saw him take photos of her at a birthday lunch.

“He was taking photos, holding the phone like a metre away from his face, squinting and zooming in way too far” Ashley told our reporter.

“I had to see if maybe he got anything good.”

Ashley was shocked to discover that no images of her and her mother holding glasses of prosecco were in the camera roll.

“He had zoomed in on this hedge trimmer that a gardener was using outside the restaurant. Then when I kept scrolling through it was like random photos of PVC pipes, piles of dirt, drills.”

“I stopped scrolling when I found a photo of an oddly coloured mole on his back. That was too much.”

Ashley’s Dad, Stephen, didn’t realise the camera roll was an app.

“I usually open up the camera app and then click the button down the bottom where the photos are and then scroll through if I want to see a photo” Stephen explained.

“Everyone just has to take photos of everything. Their meals at breakfast, the fucken sky, their faces 24/7. Sorry if I want to take a photo of this fucking water pipe I accidentally burst into on Sunday morning and not my face in golden hour!”
