Dad Keeps Ten Steps Ahead On Bush Walk Like A General Leading Soldiers Into Battle

A local Betoota Heights household has decided to celebrate the warm weather by going on a hike, it’s reported.

Per mum’s suggestion that they ‘get some sunshine’, the Donaldson family have loaded up the family Jeep and traded their usual sleepy Sundays for a walk through the wilderness. It was supposed to be a good opportunity for the family to bond, but Phil Donaldson [60] has taken this as an opportunity to get in touch with his military roots by keeping ten paces ahead of the pack.

Which means what was originally supposed to be a leisurely venture has quickly turned into the rest of the Donaldsons trying to keep pace.

Armed in a pair of slightly faded cargo shorts and his favourite pair of Dunlop Volleys, Phil’s stark white pins seem impervious to the stinging nettle as he charges through the bush like a man on a mission.

“COME THIS WAY”

“I FOUND A SHORTCUT!”

“HURRY UP!”

The rest of the family appear slightly bemused by his antics until Phil completely disappears into a dark mass of bush trees.

“Where the fuck did he go?”

More to come.
