A life long inner city resident that hasn’t been to the bush since a high school excursion, Riley Oldham (30) has revealed he reckons he could do a way better job surviving the Alaskan wilderness than those professionals he watches on YouTube all the time.

Riley, a city-dweller known for his impeccable taste in craft beer and his aversion to anything remotely resembling manual labor, stunned friends and family when he announced that he has a couple survival tricks up his sleeve after consuming so many hours of wilderness content online.

“I’ve always been drawn to the idea of roughing it in the great outdoors,” Riley declared.

Many of Riley’s close friends were surprised by the declaration.

“I’ve literally never heard him express any desire to do anything remotely outdoorsy.” Said Rowen Cliffe (29) a lifelong friend of Riley’s.

“Yeah nah I’ve always had something in me that loved the great outdoors, you should see some of these guys on YouTube, sometimes I reckon it’s all fake, they don’t have a clue what to do!” Riley replied defensively.

Despite the skepticism from friends and family, Riley remains undeterred in his quest to prove that he’s better than these so-called experts that have all the gear but no idea.
