With coronavirus hysteria growing with every daily update from the Prime Minister – Australians are now juggling with how to manage both the waves of alarming statistics and the lack of social activities.

As at 6:00am on 30 March 2020, there have been 4,093 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Australia. There have been 284 new cases since 6:00am yesterday.

Of the 4,093 confirmed cases in Australia, 16 have died from COVID-19. More than 214,000 tests have been conducted across Australia.

On top of this, all residents are being urged to stay indoors as much as possible – and to only leave for groceries, exercise and medicine.

Stress levels are high across the country, and with no pubs open – Australians are struggling to find ways to carry them through these uncertain times.

One household in Betoota’s Flight Path District have seen some dramatic scenes this afternoon, as the family matriarch cracked open the emergency ‘Best of Enya’ CD.

After a stressful address from Prime Minister Scotty this afternoon, local mum Deborah Carnegie (59) says she knew there was only one way to calm everyone down.

“Two words” she says.

“Orinoco Flow”

After a short while rummaging through the dust and photographs in the attic – Deb returns down stairs with the entire discography of the iconic Celtic power-pop songstres

“This woman got me through four pregnancies. Shut up everyone and listen to Eithne Pádraigín Ní Bhraonáin”

“I haven’t had to pull out the Very Best Of Enya since 9/11.”

“But we need her more than ever now”
