Cole Palmer has just stumbled upon a life changing meal while on tour in Western Sydney.

The 24 year old Chelsea star man is still lost for words at the revolutionary Western Sydney classic he tried after an exhibition match against the Wanderers which he says he is determined to recreate back home.

"Mate, bitta meat, some 'ot chippies and that holy trinity sauce combo... that is class that is," he said.

Cole Palmer reportedly demolished the entire Halal Snack Pack in silence before spending the next fifteen minutes staring into the distance, trying to process what he'd just experienced.

Witnesses claim the England international immediately began asking staff where he could find "one of these kebab shops" in London, before looking visibly disappointed when informed that somehow they "just aren't the same."

"I've won trophies, played Champions League football, scored goals at Wembley, but this... this is different," Palmer admitted.

Locals have welcomed the Chelsea midfielder's appreciation of one of Western Sydney's favourite meals, with several insisting that his first experience wasn't even from one of the legit kebab spots.

The playmaker has since cancelled plans to eat at Sydney Harbour restaurants recommended by teammates, instead requesting another late night pilgrimage to a fluorescently lit takeaway shop wedged between a tobacconist and discount phone repair store.
