SHERWOOD, QLD (AAP) –

DEVELOPING STORY:

Police have been called to a western Brisbane address this afternoon after an intoxicated father refused to stop playing Paul Kelly’s “How To Make Gravy” on repeat.

The alleged was seen by family and friends to be “hogging” the auxiliary cable of his family’s new BOSE sound system.

He was heard slurring the following:

“All you lot need to (sic) listen to this shit. It’s Australian f**king Christmas carol”

It is believed police were called to the scene after the father of four played the song off his daughter’s iPhone thirteen times in succession.

The man is known to police and was previously arrested for refusing to stop playing “Unchained Melody” by the Righteous Brothers on the Colmslie Hotel jukebox in Morningside after Arthur Beetson’s state funeral in December, 2011.
