Right Wing Media Still Pretending Like John Howard Didn’t Create The Blueprint For Record Immigration Levels

As the debate about immigration continues to swirl around the nation, it’s been confirmed that most of the mainstream media are going to continuing ignoring one of the largest contributing factors.

While pertinent to the conversation about whether Australia’s is allowing an unsustainable amount of migrants into the nation, the right wing media says it’s not going to touch the fact that John Howard created the blueprint for the current system.

Known by many as the ‘greatest Prime Minister’ the country ever had, John Howard has long had the reputation of being tough on borders.

The pioneer of the whole ‘stop the boats’ mantra came despite the fact Howard doubled immigration – something which his party and friends in the media continue to pretend never happen.

The doubling of migration numbers was of course aimed at providing a larger underclass of lowly paid employees to suppress wage growth on behalf of business – with Howard successfully baiting the public into rabidly decrying brown people throwing their babies into the ocean.

That legacy has continued on today, with unsettled Australians seeking to blame brown people for their problems while immigration is used to plug the gaps in our deeply flawed economy that is way too reliant on property and digging shit out of the ground.

“I don’t think it’s in the interests of our friends and advertisers to be delving too much into who really benefits from large scale migration,” laughed a spokesperson for News Corp.

“Or when it really started to ramp up…”

“I think it’s much better to just tell the public that Albo is letting in hordes of brown people because he’s a leftie who hates Australian values.”

“So we’ll just leave it at that, thanks very much.”
