In some breaking news from the Middle East, Israel has gone ahead and bombed another country.
The extremely popular nation of Israel has carried out what it calls ‘surgical strikes against Hamas leaders in Qatar.’
The ‘surgical’ nature of the strikes comes not long after Israel ‘double tapped’ a hospital in Gaza – and comes amongst a back drop of frequent ‘accidents’ that result in people seeking food or medical assistance being murdered.
That rather bland emotionless language about the Qatar attack has of course been used by swathes of mainstream media, who certainly don’t use that type of language about other countries when they attack other sovereign nations in direct violations of international law.
Qatar has described the move as a “cowardly attack” and “criminal assault.”
They’ve refused to rule out responding to the attack, with the world now anxiously watching on.
The erratic but volatile President of The United States has also expressed his anger at the attack.
The bombing has also essentially killed any hopes of a ceasefire in the near future, with a direct attack on the nation trying to broker a ceasefire between Israel and Palestine.
It’s also since been confirmed that the move to bomb a country that isn’t poor as shit and has the ability to defend itself militarily and diplomatically, might not have been the wisest one.
“Yeah, Qatar hosted a World Cup man,” said a local geopolitical expert at South Betoota Polytechnic’s Humanities Department.
“They have a lot of money and know how to win people over.”
“This either seems like a deliberate ploy from the Israeli leadership to escalate the conflict in an attempt to hold onto local power, or a very very poor misstep.”
