SETTING IT STRAIGHT: On the 6th of September at 13:34 pm The Betoota Advocate posted a story on social media about the AFL’s Elimination Final between Hawthorn Hawks and the Western Bulldogs.

The story was titled: Melbourne Private School Boys League Lives Up To Name By Putting Shittest Final In Blockbuster Friday Night Spot.

While a fair and honest report of the ‘most exciting game in recent history to ever be played yada yada yada’ – the article seemed to upset some of our Southern and Western readers – who believe The Advocate should hire a specific AFL writer.

As a result of the backlash, The Advocate would like to apologise to ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NO ONE.
