The face of political number crunching and analysis has finally done it.

Antony Green, the Chief Election Analyst at the ABC has revealed that he’s cracked the code for his horse racing and first tryscorer model.

The noted psephologist has confirmed that after a life-time of refining the model, he’s finally confident of David Walshing it.

“Yep, I’ve nailed it,” confirmed Green to The Advocate this afternoon, ahead of plans to fleece Australian and International bookmakers.

“Obviously I can’t let you in on the secrets, but after decades of tinkering I’ve finally got it down pat.”

The career pivot also means Green will be calling it on his time at the national broadcaster after covering nearly 70 state, federal and territory elections.

The much loved character confirmed to The Advocate that it’s been a hell of a ride, but he’s excited for what’s to come.

“Yeah, I’ll do em a solid and call the upcoming WA election and the next federal election, but then that’s it for me,” said the Warrington via James Ruse product.

“I’m looking forward to opening my own gallery of modern art,” said Green, referencing MONA, the fabled product of David Walsh’s gambling winnings in Tasmania.

Our reporter then pressed Green on his try-scorer tips for this weekends Vegas round, before he dutifully obliged.

More to come.
