Boss Chooses One Poor Worker To Maintain Eye Contact With During Rant In Staff Meeting

An office worker was really feeling the pressure this morning after being stared at by his boss during a whole company meeting about low productivity. 

37 year old, project coordinator, Lucas Benwin, was ready to zone out during his weekly company meeting when his boss decided to do another of his 15 minute monologues. 

“Sometimes my boss will get in a mood where he just needs to rant and yeah he should probably do it to someone that cares in private, but usually he does it to the whole staff and they never really know what to do” Lucas told our reporter. 

“He also can’t do the good public speaking thing where you make sure to look at everyone you’re speaking to, he just finds one person sitting across from him and stares at them throughout his whole rant.” 

Unfortunately for Lucas, at this morning’s meeting, that person was him. 

While Lucas’s boss discussed the company’s lack of productivity and initiative, he stared down Lucas making it appear that it was all Lucas’s fault for the company’s failure. 

“Yeah it was definitely a bit stressful, I couldn’t just blur my vision and log off for the meeting like I usually do, I had to lock in.” 

Lucas made sure to aggressively nod at everything his boss said to show that he supported every word. Sometimes even going to the length of saying “yep” and “a hundred percent.” 

“I didn’t really understand the point he was making in his rant, all I knew was that I had to appear like I was backing everything the guy said.” 

Lucas was so exhausted after showing so much support that he had to scroll Facebook market place for 30 minutes after to unwind.
