A local woman has this week broken dating conventions, by revealing on her Hinge profile that she’s quite into coffee, dogs and travelling!

Chelsea Hammersmith, 26, a marketing coordinator from the French Quarter, tells our reporter that she’s received a lot of messages about her unique Hinge prompts, especially the one where she mentions she also quite likes hiking – though when asked what her favourite hiking trail is, Chelsea struggles to remember.

Chelsea says that her unique answers have resulted in her getting plenty of dates, as blokes find it super easy to start a conversation.

“I really spent time thinking about my answers, and I really think it’s paid off”, says Chelsea, “not a lot of people are into coffee, dogs and travelling.”

Chelsea says she also prefers to match blokes who have interesting profile prompts, as she’s sick of seeing the same answers over and over again.

“I saw this great one the other day, that was in response to the ‘I’ll fall for you’ prompt.”

“They answered, ‘if you trip me.”

“Or the one that said his unusual skill was getting hoodies back after ‘you’ve borrowed it.”

“It’s so creative.”

More to come.
