A ground breaking new study has this week confirmed a long held scientific theory.
The new report into the state of human enjoyment has affirmed the widely hypothesised theory that a bottle of plonk in the park on a sunny afternoon is actually pretty divine.
The report also concludes that a cold 6 pack or case of tins/bottles is effectively just as divine.
Released by Betoota’s very own Licensing Inquiries and Testing For Australian Management (LitFam), the 324 page document compiles well over 4 years of research into the best ways to spend a nice arvo.
The report’s lead researcher Taylor McGuigan-Penfold explained that touching some grass while wetting your lips is a really lovely way to spend some time.
“End of a work day during daylight savings, a Sunday arvo trying to push the Monday dread away, or a Saturday with endless promise and possibilities ahead of you,” began McGuigan-Penfold.
“All fantastic ways to unwind, recharge or lift off.”
“I think that was one of the only good things out of the spicy cough era, that we were shown how much fun it can be to have a couple of beverages in a public space and enjoy what a town or city has to offer.”
“And it’s certainly much more affordable than dropping 12 dollars on a schooner of mid-strength at some local hospitality chain.”
McGuigan-Penfold says that with the longer days and warmer weather upon us, everyone who can, should make hay while the sun shines.
“It would be rude not to.”
More to come.
