Joe Biden, the next President of the Unite States, has claimed victory in the race to the White House.

Overnight, the native Ohian won the key seat of Pennsylvania which gave him 20 electoral college votes, making his lead now unbeatable.

Speaking overnight to his electoral staff in Delaware, Biden said he now has the mandate to rejoin the Paris Agreement.

“We will rejoin the Paris Agreement and aim to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050,” said Biden.
