Benji Marshall Refutes Claims That Players Have Been Openly Punching Bucket Bongs In The Tigers Centre Of Excellence

It's been a testing for months for the long-suffering cohort of Australian sports fans who are burdened with the lifelong obligation of supporting the Wests Tigers.

After a euphoric start to the season with several weeks at the top of the ladder, the momentum has since been zapped after losing both their CEO and star signing.

This is a crying shame for the game of rugby league, because it's well known that the entire competition is buoyed when the eccentric and pathologically twisted Tiggies fans are up and about.

Unfortunately, as the NRL reaches the pointy end of the regular season, there has been a sharp decrease in public displays of Tigers fandom.

This is directly related to the sharp decrease in morale coming out of the actual club, as jilted club icon Adam Doueihi now regrets standing himself down from last week's game against Canberra after a dummy spit

It is believed that coach Benji Marshall had made him change positions, which didn't sit well with the 27-year-old playmaker, who then went on to briefly convince himself that he carried more cultural weight within the club than the Kiwi lord, saviour and hero that single-handedly delivered this tortured organisation their last premiership in 2005.

The two appear to have made up, but Doueihi has also highlighted his lack of faith in a team that does not appear to behave like professional athletes, with allegations that teammates are taking part in an array of different recreational inhalants while training in the gym.

Benji Marshall has admitted standards have slipped at the club in recent weeks but said the Tigers did not have a culture problem - and that he has never seen any signs of players punching bucket bongs or gravity bongs within the confines ofd the West Tigers Centre Of Excellence.
