A local man who has just returned from a Bali trip wants you to know how corrupt Indonesia is, just before he buys a $12 pack of Marlboro Reds with health warnings in Arabic on them, at midday, in a pedestrian-heavy shopping mall.

Kai Grant (23), who had never been overseas before his trip, knew things were bad in the developing world, but he never expected to see such blatant corruption on his holiday.

"Mate you can pretty much pay off the cops for anything over there" he said while walking past 2 cops buying a vape from another illegal tobacconist 5 shops down from the one he just went to.

"Like, the corruption is actually so in your face, they don't even try to hide it over there, it's sad really" he continued, while making way for a man in a souped up Lamborghini hopping out his car and into a tobacconist holding 3 large bin bags with packets imported ciggies in them.

"It just goes to show how lucky we are to live in a country with rules and regulation, even if it can be annoying sometimes" he chuckled before walking past a 4th tobacconist that was set a light 3 days earlier and is now nothing but a black shouldering shell of a once prosperous tobacconist.

He then paused to shake his head at the state of foreign corruption, before crossing the street to grab a lighter from a fifth tobacconist that had just opened that morning.
