Aziz Ansari, the American comic known for his iconic stand up material, and appearances on Comedy Central Roasts is reportedly now delving into long forgotten artform known as fantasy-comedy.

As both a star and director, Aziz Ansari joins Seth Rogen and Keanu Reeves in what is being described as both an 'angel movie' but also a 'body swap' movie, but also - a critique of rich wankers from LA.

Titled 'Good Fortune' the movie follows a well-meaning but rather inept angel named Gabriel (Reeves) as he meddles in the lives of a struggling gig worker (Ansari) and a wealthy venture capitalist (Rogen).

The films also stars Kiki Palmer and Sandra Oh. It is Rated M and appears to be very well complimented by rolling up a phat joint and smoking some marijiuana.

The release of Good Fortune is terrific news for those who came of age in the 2010s when stoner comedy was at it's high watermark, it appears that this long lost art form is back. It's been decades now since bonglords have been gifted a Pineapple Express or Super Troopers style comedy such as this.

The recent lack of comedy films that pair well with marijuana could be put down to the official legalisation and decriminalisation of the devil's lettuce, which pushed this subculture out from the fringes and into the mainstream.

However, the mere sight of Seth Rogen still brings back the memories of blazing one up to SuperBad, as does his raspy laugh that can only be caused by inhaling that sticky icky every day.
