ATO’s First Wave Of Tax Returns Highlighted By A Sharp Increase Of Fresh Tatts In Newsfeed

Tax returns are already making their way onto Orange splurge cards across the country, that’s according to Australia’s tattoo sector.

The ATO will typically send out a cheque two weeks after lodgement, but an increase in poorly-thought-out body art in the newsfeed says this can also be processed within a few days.

Social media users around the country have today confirmed sightings of thousands of new personal mantras inscribed on the pale skin of tax-payers lucky enough to be in the first wave of ATO mail outs.

However, local resident Shona Guerra says her most recent forearms tatt is purely a result of jumping the gun.

“All I got is my tax return estimate” she says.

“But that money is basically there. All I had to do is smash a Nimble loan and I already had a grand up front”
