Partygoers at a raging all-nighter have this weekend been hit with the woeful cry of the infamous ‘bender bird’, which has quickly killed off any joyous energy in the room and cruelly reminded everyone that kickons past 2am are never a good thing.

The Masked Lapwing, or ‘bender bird’, as it’s non-affectionately called by masters of the sesh, has an unmistakable call that has no doubt sent chills down the spine of many a partygoer over the years, due to the fact that the only time you when you’ve spent all night getting stuck into the bags.

For residents at the weary, rundown shared house located at 188 Daroo Road, this cruel song has reminded them that they’re just hours away from suffering a horrendous comedown that will no doubt have them cocooning under a blanket all day, desperately trying to escape the clawing feeling of anxiety and deep existential dread.
