An exchange student from the frosty wilderness of Alaska has been abruptly sent packing after enduring the bone-chilling horrors of an uninsulated Australian inner-city terrace house.
Anniagruk Kusugak (24) , an Inuit woman from Alaska, had eagerly anticipated her semester abroad in Australia, envisioning sun-soaked few months in the land down under. What she didn’t anticipate, however, was the shockingly substandard level of insulation in Inner-City Australian homes during the winter months.
“Far too cold for me, I don’t know how you guys do it.” Anniagruk said.
With her dreams of a sun-drenched Australian adventure destroyed by the harsh realities of Australian winter, Anniagruk is comforted with the fact that she will soon be back home where it’s a lot warmer, Alaska.
