The Australian Federal Police are just waiting for the all-clear to begin kicking in doors and seizing computers this morning, after new laws were passed to protect social cohesion in Australia.

It appears that the populist right-wing agenda-setters at Sky News will be one of many hate preachers to be cuffed and dragged before the courts, after accidentally demanding the government to hold racists and bigots accountable for spreading inflammatory and dangerous rhetoric.

They will join the radical religious preachers and extremist political cells that are also hellbent on targeting minorities and disrupting the harmony of Australian society.

The new Federal laws to tackle hate speech have passed the Senate after the Albanese government struck separate deals with the Liberals and Greens, splitting the Coalition down the middle and causing the National Party to spit the dummy.

The laws were rushed through on Tuesday night at the end of a special two-day sitting to deal with the urgent issue of violent ideologies festering within the community.

Nationals leader, David Littleproud, described the laws as a “mess” that “overreached” - echoing the hysterical sentiments of far-right media commentators on Sky News who are now acting like they haven't spent the last few months demanding political action on this specific issue.

It seems that Australia's 'very online' right-wing had expected the laws to be customised to only target specific people - while also criminalising public protests - but still protecting their rights to continue using religious, racial and homophobic slurs

Nationals senate leader, Bridget McKenzie, has accused the government of “trashing the normal process of parliamentary scrutiny in a vain attempt to secure a fleeting political win" on the issue that both sides of parliament, the media, and the Australian public have demanded action.

Inside Sky News HQ this morning, unpaid interns who once imagined themselves winning Walkley awards are being ordered to shred documents and wipe hard drives, as the media executives responsible for the now irreversible destruction of the Liberal Party begin panicking about possible jail time and/or deportations.
