An elderly Greek man who has operated a used fridge dealership for the last 39 years has shocked a pair of 22 year old housemates looking to buy a fridge for their new place.

The incident occurred earlier this week when Lachlan Moore and Caleb Heartly strolled up to a local fridge dealership a few days after moving into their new place.

"Neither of us have a car, but we were pretty confident we'd be able to trolley it down to our place with the both of us" explained Lachlan.

Upon arrival, the boys were met with rows of extremely low priced fridges, accompanied with an extremely dark and unlit store.

Out of the darkness appeared Con Alexopoulos (78) who quickly pointed the boys to the cheapest fridge in the entire store without saying a word.

"We couldn't really go past a $120 fridge, it was so cheap we could probably just pay for someone to deliver it for us"

Before even having the chance to ask Con if they could arrange a delivery service, the elderly man scoffed and explained he can deliver it to them for free.

To the shock of the boys, Con commenced to lining his back against the fridge, dropping it on himself and piggybacking the fridge out of the store.

"He just asked us which direction, it was truly impressive stuff"

In record time Con marched the fridge 900 meteres down the road, and into their kitchen, before quickly returning to his shop.
