An American Trump supporter on a spiritual trip to his ancestral homeland has been left stunned after discovering what the Irish version of a ‘Republican’ is.
Kyle Sullivan (33) thought his trip to Ireland with his brother would be innocent enough—a chance for the two to get in touch with the Irish roots that they talk about so often back home. What they found shattered their entire self-identity.
Kyle, a loud and proud Trump supporter, has always been proud of his Irish heritage, which has been the backbone of white working-class America for centuries.
He believed that the long awaited return to his homeland would be met with applause by his Irish brothers, who would be happy with America’s anti-establishment shift that also happened to be backed by the richest people in the establishment.
Kyle’s preconceived notions of the island were tragically incorrect.
Within hours of landing in Belfast, Kyle was met with murals that he couldn’t even imagine seeing at the most leftist college campus in America in his worst nightmares.

The horror show only continued as Kyle saw murals of Fidel Castro, Gaddafi, and independence movements he’s never even heard of.

While on a museum tour, Kyle was sickened to discover that the Irish Republican movement isn’t just the Irish version of the GOP and is actually largely made up of socialists and liberals.
