US President Donald Trump has today attempted to provide context to the extremely emotive language he used when threatening the lives of American citizens protesting the public murder of an unarmed black man by Minneapolis police.

“When the looting starts, the shooting starts” Mr Trump tweeted, paying direct homage to a quote from Walter E. Headley, the former police chief of Miami, who used the same words when declaring ‘war on African American crime’ in Florida over the summer of 1967.

Trump has since backpedalled on this threat, attempting to reposition his words as something less immediate, but like, something that could happen, and if it did, it wouldn’t necessarily be the army shooting these people. Despite the fact he followed up this same tweet with multiple threats of sending the army in to “get the job done right”.

This clarification was made only after Twitter censored Trump’s provocative tweet, claiming it broke its rules about “glorifying violence” – causing a never before seen barrier between his voters and his largest unchecked platform for political spin.

But he added that protestors should not be allowed to turn to “lawless anarchy” – and that the increased violence and disorder that has taken place since he threatened to kill everybody is more a result of the ‘radical left democrats’ taking advantage of the situation with their highly organised crowds of hundreds of thousands of terrified mostly black people.

“The looters should not be allowed to drown out the voices of so many peaceful protesters,” Mr Trump said, again reiterating that he has always respected the right of the citizen to enact their 1st Amendment rights to the Freedom Of Speech, and would definitely never have ordered the National Guard to shoot them indiscriminately.

Trump also tweeted the word “CHINA!!!” with absolutely no context, before sharing a link that suggested the chemical element Zinc could cure coronavirus but no medical scientists are using it in their tests because CNN is trying to mislead the public into thinking that COVID-19 is more serious than it really is, likely because they have a partisan agenda to throw him out of the White House.

Probably a lot MORE TO COME.
