The two NASA astronauts who were stranded in orbit for nine months have today confirmed that their biggest shock to returning to earth was finding out that apparently all the lefties not only hate Teslas but they’re also blowing them up.

Former Navy captains turned astronauts Butch Wilmore and Sunita Williams were left stranded in space after a Boeing rocket fault stretched their week-long voyage into nine months. They were finally rescued yesterday afternoon by a SpaceX capsule, with the journey home taking approximately 17 hours.

After having some medical checks and seeing their families, Wilmore and Williams report taking some time to catch up on everything that’s happened in the past nine months, and are now reportedly more traumatised by their findings than the nine months they spent in a confined space.

“Wow that Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni drama, that was a lot hey”, said Wilmore, “Oh and that Raygun, what a hoot!”

Williams confirms that her biggest shock was finding out the bloke who rescued them also threw out a nazi salute during Donald Trump’s inauguration rally.

They have since both asked if it’s possible to go back into space, and to see what the world’s like in another nine months time.

More to come.
