A lime green Ford Falcon XR6 has taken to social media this morning to express his anger of being denied the opportunity to purchase toilet paper – as well as a number of other grocery staples.

Greg Taylor, a 2005 BA Falcon, went as far as suggesting capital punishment should be brought back for people found to be greedy at the supermarket checkout.

He told The Advocate this morning that those people hoarding groceries deserve to be shot.

“Just drag them out of bed and put two small calibre rounds in the back of their head,” he said.

“Easy as that. I’d even do it.”

Our reporter’s pursed smile faded as Mr Taylor, thinking The Advocate thought he was joking, pulled a snub-nose .38 from his raincoat pocket.

“You think I’m kidding? Look, I’ll go and shoot one right now.”

More to come.
