Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has today declared himself a proud multiculturalist, in the wake of a Katter newest senator’s comments that insinuated that we should only allow white people to migrate here.

Turnbull joins both houses of the Federal Parliament have widely condemned Queensland senator Fraser Anning for advocating a return to the White Australia policy and using Nazi phrase, but he is unapologetic, or doesn’t know the historical context of what he’s saying, because he’s an ex-One Nation senator who doesn’t appear to be that bright.

Senator Anning used his maiden speech last night to call for a complete overhaul of the immigration system, insisting most migrants should be from a European Christian background and used the phrase “final solution”, which was the phrase used by the Nazis under Adolf Hitler which meant annihilating Jewish people from Europe.

The Prime Minister has been quick to address this concerning political discourse, which appears to be growing in Canberra.

“Australia is the most successful multicultural society in the world built on a foundation of mutual respect. We reject and condemn racism in any form.” said the Prime Minister.

“Literally, when people ask me about what it means to be Australian, all I can think to say is that we have a beautiful melting pot of cultures that come together as one.”

Turnbull paused for a minute and sighed before continuing.

“Except for Melbourne. Peter [Minister For Home Affairs Peter Dutton] has told me to mention that.”

“Apparently they have criminal gangs of migrant kids roaming the streets and it’s a direct result of migration and something that Melbourne has never seen before apparently…”

“I mean, it’s happened before, but not like this. Most of the people killed during the late 1990s gangland shootings were elderly Italian migrants… We’ve never seen this kind of anti-social behaviour from teenagers before. Not like this. Anyway…”

Turnbull paused again.

“So yeah…..” he said.

“Successful multicultural society, except for Melbourne, I’ve been told. Apparently people are scared to go out to restaurants because of African pre-teens, et cetera et cetera”

“Everything’s fine in Point Piper though.”

“So I say this to Senator Anning, I can’t see any reason why migrants would want to move to Gladstone. It’s not a very nice place to be honest. So please shut up”
