The iconic Sydney masthead, the Daily Telegraph has today once again shown that it’s finger is still on the pulse, of Peter Dutton.

The highly circulated Murdoch news tabloid has confirmed that Muslims are of no interest to the general public unless they are playing up.

This comes after a hundreds of muslims came together yesterday to pray for drought-stricken Aussie farmers at Western Auburn Islamic Community Centre yesterday.

Lead by Mufti Dr Ibrahim Abu Mohamad, the congregation said the ‘rain prayer’ in an effort to send rains down upon the parched lands under the burden of drought.

However, the Editor of the Daily Telegraph Roo Pertspuppet confirmed that none of their audience cares about that.

The omniscient editor, along with his cluster of tertiary educated upper-class white male editorial staff, say that they are the definitive source on what everyday people want to know. And people don’t wanna know about warm stories that unify Australians of different background.

“People don’t wanna see Muslims praying for rain. They wanna hear about farmers doing it tough because of foreign aid. They wanna hear about Muslims preaching the kind of homophobic things our columnists actually say on a regular basis,” he explained.

“They wanna hear about Muslims trying to change our country and erring towards extremism, not them praying for farmers,” Mr Perpuppets laughed.

“Lordie me. Next thing we know you’ll want us to be reporting on tax evasion and the undue influence of the Catholic Church.”

Perpuppets then explained that the besides all of the above, the feel-good pieces are for the Sunday Tele and that the Daily covers all the hard-hitting news stories like car crashes, school policy blow ups and press releases from the Liberal Party.
