Residents of South Australia, Western Australia, New South Wales, Queensland and the territories are today wondering if they should be a little bit more sensitive about what they put on Instagram today.

Even with a cold front coming through the Eastern Seaboard, millions of Australians outside of Victoria are heading to the pub this afternoon to drink lager out of a glass – as God intended.

This is not the case for many people living in metropolitan Melbourne.

Victoria has recorded 14 new cases and eight more deaths overnight, cementing the state’s last 14-day average at 25.1 for Melbourne and 0.8 for the bush.

Premier Daniel Andrews has confirmed more lockdown restrictions will be eased this weekend, beyond those he previously flagged, after declaring the state is winning the battle against coronavirus.

But that doesn’t help things right now, because the entire state is thirsty and would love to go to the pub and drink one of those huge fucking types of beer glasses they drink out of down there.

The rest of that nation have pre-emptively apologised for the barrage of glorious Friday arvo schooner pics, because they know it must be hurting by now.

MORE SCHOONERS TO COME.
