Though it shouldn’t have come as a surprise, the eldest son of a prominent local grazier is counting down the days until he walks out of South Betoota Public School for the last time and into the most exclusive boarding school in the Diamantina.

Because of this, Billy Williams-Ross (12) of ‘Ucharonidge’ via Betoota, says he’s been effectively frozen out by his teachers.

“When I told them I was going to Whooton next year and not the high school, they pretty much stopped trying to teach me anything,” he told our reporters.

“I don’t mind but my parents are ropable. Especially Dad. All the sausage sizzles he ran, the fetes that Mum poured her soul into,”

“Whatever.”

Next year, the nationally-ranked Fortnite player is set to attend The Whooton School in Betoota Grove, our town’s most expensive and exclusive school for boys.

The Advocate spoke to a number of young Billy’s teachers at South Betoota and most of them echoed each other’s sentiments that Billy will make a nice little ‘Whooton cunt’ and that they’re not going to waste their energy on him.

“He’s going to get a head start anyway,” said one teacher.

“Why give him a head start on a head start? I hope that treasonous little shit has a hard time adjusting. I hope they call him a ‘dumb fucking rural’ and put him in the ESL. English class with the international students,”

“I bet he thinks he’s better than us. His little brother and his sister and going to cop it now, too.”

More to come.
