The girls have been on a pretty solid trajectory this afternoon at Betoota Bowling Club, with rosé and aperol flowing like the once great Murray River.

Bar staff have informed the advocate that the girls are up to their 10th bottle Rose and don’t look like slowing down any time soon.

This prediction was proven correct after the opening sting of Shania Twain’s ‘man! I feel like a woman’ blasted over the club’s speakers.

“Dun dun dun na na now now” the song blasted, acting like a call to arms for the group of women.

“OHMIGOD” yelled one of the patrons, as they got up from the table and began dance strutting around their table.

The rest of the venue were then treated to a horribly out of tune rendition of the 1999 pop country ballad.

“I’m goon’ out tonight, I’m feeeeelin’ alright. I’m gonna let ma hair hang dooowwwn”

It’s understood that the song acted like a catapult, launching the women into warp speed for the rest of the night.

One onlooker at the club described the girls as maniacal, saying their eyes had glazed over and they were just on a mission to send themselves sky high.

“That song shouldn’t be allowed to play if there’s any hens parties of lengthy afternoon sessions taking place” said the witness, visibly shaken by the experience.
