A new announcement from Prime Minister, Scotty from Marketing, could see the next election be a social movement in more ways than one.

During one of the press conferences he must surely think people want to see more of, Scotty announced a new plan.

“I know how this is affecting Australians because I am also an Australian,” stated Scotty as he fought his natural urge to pull the smile he does whenever he sees someone drop an ice-cream cone in public.

“And like all Australians, I also check Facebook while I’m on the toilet and everyone on there reckons they could do a better job than me.”

Scotty then outlined his plan to hold the next federal election via Facebook so all these people who know how to do his job can actually have a shot at it.

“I know I make it look easy, but this is a tough job. With respect to these people, most of them couldn’t even beat Dutton in a spill vote.”

Political scientist Dr Heather Hurley (49) states Scotty’s plan is a daring one and could have dangerous repercussions for the already precarious governing party.

“We don’t know who the next PM will be, only that when it comes time to vote it is 100% going to be rooted within the first five minutes as it involves the internet and the Australian Liberal Party.”
