A local woman has today returned to Perth with a smile on her face, and a strong sense of satisfaction.

The Subiaco via Betootan French Quarter woman says that although her body is redlining and she’s drained her bank account like a drunken sailor, she’s happy.

“It was a big weekend,” laughed the young architecture graduate called Felicity Tran.

“And I’m on rations until the next payday.”

“BUT, it was all worth it,” continued the young woman who has always told her friends she’ll move to the felt hat capital of the country one day.

Felicity says it was all worth it because she managed to tick off the Instagram bucket list moment of getting a Lune croissant.

“I only had to queue for an hour as well,” said the young woman who was queuing for nearly that long to get into the New Guernica 12 hours later.

Made famous by F1 aerodynamicist turner Pâtissière, Lune has become a staple of the Melbourne foodie scene, with tourists and locals alike lining up for baked goods like food rations have been imposed.

“Look, you gotta do it,” laughed Felicity, whose Melbourne based mate spent weeks hyping up the prospect.

“When in Rome as they say.”

“And besides, Melbourne is Australia’s equivalent of a European capital, just ask anyone who lives there.”

“Although, I did have a couple of shit coffees soooooooo they can pipe down about that,” she laughed.

Felicity then went back to staring mindlessly at her phone in hope that it would provide her with some endorphins somehow.

No more to come.
