In a landmark moment for the nation, the Federal Opposition Leader has laid down a bold future for Australia.

Anthony Albanese is set to unveil a nation-building policy that will make electric vehicles slightly cheaper for the average citizen.

If the Labor Party wins the next election, which now looks like more than likely with this life-changing piece of policy, a $50,000 electric car could be $2,000 cheaper.

The breathtakingly brave initiative could cost upwards of 200 million dollars and blows the current governments 67 million dollar gas policy out of the water, as the desire to shape our nation during this historic times reaches new heights.

Albanese is set to unveil the jewel in the crown at a Labor conference today, in a modern replication of things like the 8 hour working day, Medicare and free tertiary education.

“Some might call us crazy, but this is our vision,” said the man who has apparently spent the last 12 months coming up with this.

“And calling Scott Morrison incompetent which worked so well at the last election,” said the leader of a party that couldn’t fathom the possibility of losing.

“Obviously we lost places like Queensland in 2019, but this new tariff policy will bring voters who are seeing seismic shifts in the Australian way of life back around.”

“Forget trying to shift the taxation system to try and generate an arguably fairer distribution of wealth and explaining it to average working class Australian, they should just vote for us or we’ll call them dumb.”

“Don’t worry about trying to ensure working people can feel safe and secure in their employment.”

“Just vote for us because we say the other lot are bad okay.”
