Kiwi nationals and ethnically Kiwi Australians are the country are this week struggling to process the cold, hollow and downright upsetting feeling of dispair that Wallabies supporters have become very well acquainted with over the last twenty years.

This comes days after the Australian rugby union side dominated New Zealand, both physically and psychologically, in a disturbing 47-26 win on Saturday night in Perth.

In workplaces and pubs right across the country, the token New Zealanders are getting a long overdue rinsing from the droves of bandwagon rugby union fans, and the small minority of die-hard Wallabies believers in their workplaces.

Today, in one local Betoota recruitment agency, Tokoroa-born Jacinda Lomu (51) is copping it from all angles.

“Wait tull you playee in Edun Pork thus weekind” says a distressed Jacinda, still struggling with the painful loss.

“Prutty ezeee tu dew whin you’re only pleying aginst fourtine mun”

However, the result of next weekend’s Bledisloe decider doesn’t matter, because the All Blacks lost on Saturday, and they lost so fucken bad. By the largest margin they’ve ever lost to Australia before.

With her back against the wall, and a unfamiliar fury swirling inside her, Jacinda appears to be only a few more sledges away from comparing the respective populations of both countries.

MORE TO COME.
