In true Labor fashion, NSW Opposition leader Michael Daley has today done his very best to Hillary Clinton an open lay-up.

With the world still reeling from a tragic act of white supremacist terrorist in our own backyard, Daley has done his best to read the room and deciding bashing migrants might be his best bet at winning an election against one of the most incompetent NSW governments in decades, led by third-string Premier Gladys Berejiklian.

Daley, who was never expected to make many waves after he was subbed in for his equally uninspiring predecessor after sexual harassment accusations put a nail in the coffin of a political career that no one even knew about, had managed to gain a bit of momentum in his election campaign after threatening to sack Alan Jones from the SCG trust live on air.

However, while this did seem like a refreshing brand of take-it-or-leave-it politics from the man dubbed Generic White Dork #2 by the NSW voters who actually gave up on state politics after majority of the last Labor government was incarcerated for political corruption, Daley has managed to put his foot in it just days out from the election.

As reported across the country today, Daley has been captured on video claiming that young people were leaving Sydney and being replaced by foreigners who were “moving in and taking their jobs”.

In the video, Mr Daley can be seen telling an audience at a pub in the Blue Mountains that a “transformation” was under way in Sydney and young workers were being replaced by Asian immigrants.

Daley, who is campaigning on the exact same policies as the Liberal Party except for the new stadiums, says he’s concerned that his home city is experiencing a youth exodus.

Despite both the lock-out laws, manipulated property market, and funnelling of nightlife into the casino have bipartisan support, Daley believes that the real reason young people are leaving Sydney is because all their jobs are going to highly educated Asians immigrants, who are well known stealing bar work away from dopey little Sydney kids.

“Our young children will flee and who are they being replaced with? They are being replaced by young people from typically Asia with PhDs,” Mr Daley can be heard saying in a video.

The leader of the NSW opposition paused briefly, before diving doubling down on his weird rhetoric aimed at vilifying working class Asian migrants, while also making it very clear that he wasn’t talking about the types of Asians that he’s hoping will spend millions buying one of his investment properties and gambling in the Barangaroo high-rollers casino.

“There’s a transformation happening in Sydney now where our kids are moving out and foreigners are moving in and taking their jobs.”

“Even if Kings Cross was still a booming night strip, my son wouldn’t be able to find a job pouring beers there”
