The New South Wales Police Minister has said something he probably shouldn’t have again today, prompting his boss to contemplate life and why people even bother doing things.

David Elliott spoke to the media this morning, calling protesters of Indigenous treatment ‘certifiably insane’ amid the current pandemic were are in.

Many of Mr Elliott’s colleagues have said that while the Minister made a valid point, he made it in a way that made an absolute fool of himself and the government.

Speaking to The Advocate today via telephone, the NSW Premier asked our reporter and interesting question right off the bat.

“Do you ever look at someone and just think, ‘How fucking dumb are you?” like seriously. Yes, I get that protesting while we’re all supposed to be 1.5m away from each other is a bit silly but read the fucking room, David,”

“It’s enough to drive a girl mad. I feel like slamming my head against the desk every time I have to deal with him. First, him threatening to bash those kids who called him a manpig or something, you know what I’m talking about,”

“Now this. He’s done other shit but I’ve honestly pushed it out of my brain. All that stuff with the strip searches. He dropped that pie all down his front, too. I should’ve just been a lawyer. Honestly, I’d be on the bar now. I’d be a fucken s-i-l-k. Targa-top, jet black 911. George Michael’s Fast Love blaring as I hoon down the middle of the Harbour Bridge. A B&H Smooth in the corner of my mouth. Flick it directly into the big blue bin Harbour when I’m done. Pulling into my bomb-ass two-bedder in Lavender Bay. Why did I waste my time with politics?”

“Anyway, what was it you rang about?”

More to come.
