The search for missing man Scott Morrison continues today after DNA test results prove the body found in bushland west of Canberra this morning does not belong to the Prime Minister.

It has now been four days since Mr Morrison was reported missing by concerned colleagues after bombshell developments that suggest one of his cabinet ministers is a known rapist.

Since then, the people of Australia have been wondering where he is, because he hasn’t appeared since those allegations have come to light.

Police from Canberra and Mr Morrison’s home town of Bronte Beach have both stepped up the search in response.

“We’re not going to give up until we find Scott Morrison,” said AFP Superindentant, Darcy Tuckwell.

“The first 24 to 96 hours the most important in missing persons cases. We have a number of leads we are investigating but at this point, we are asking members of the public to come forward with any information they have on the disappearance of Scott Morrison,”

“They can call CrimeStoppers and leave an anonymous tip or come into their local police station to make a formal statement. Thank you.”

The AFP say they’re confident in finding Scott Morrison alive as there’s evidence to suggest that.

“His Bloke Advisor’s mobile phone is still pinging cell towers and we know he never goes anywhere without him,” said the AFP.

“Which gives us hope.”

More to come.
